Australian Space Agency Investigates Suspected Rocket Debris on Beach

The Australian Space Agency (ASA) stated that six unidentified solid balls that were found washed ashore at Forrest Beach in Queensland are possibly pressure tanks that come from an unknown space launch vehicle that has just re-entered the earth’s atmosphere. Local officials set up an exclusion zone of 50 meters and even employed hazmat teams protected by the police in securing the balls based on online speculations that they may possibly contain dangerous rocket propellant such as hydrazine. Although the event has caused unusual commotion in the otherwise peaceful town, ASA is now cooperating with other international agencies in identifying the specific rocket from which the debris came from, just like another case in 2023 wherein Indian rocket debris was found on a Western Australia beach.
